Psalm 100:4-5:

"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name. For the Lord is good, and his faithful love endures forever; his faithfulness, through all generations“.

The Bible describes love as a commitment to care for and serve others, and as the greatest commandment. The Bible teaches that love is not just a feeling, but a way of relating to others.

State of mind

Hope is an optimistic outlook that's based on the expectation of positive outcomes. As a verb, it means to "expect with confidence" or "to cherish a desire with anticipation".

Isaiah 40:31 - But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
