The Pawling Resource Center is the only 501(c) (3) charitable organization in Pawling whose mission is to help alleviate the pain of hunger and hardship. We have been operating since 1976.
Those we serve face a daily struggle to put food on their table, find transportation to medical care, learn about state and county services, or even afford to celebrate holidays with their children. Every donation you make to the Center goes toward making life a little easier for our neighbors in need.
Your generosity makes it possible for us to meet the many growing challenges we face at the PRC, as we endeavor to provide a safety-net to those in our community who reach out to us for help. With your support, we are able to restore dignity through compassion

Please see the top of our webpage where it says Prayer Requests, to add a prayer request. These prayer requests go directly to Deacon Ken Ritter.
If for some reason you have not had a response from Deacon Ken or you feel there is a technical error, please let Andrey or Rebecca know at church. This is a new feature we offer and there are still some “bugs”. Please be patient with us. :)
Holmes Breakthrough Prayer!
God, help us to arouse a new fervor to carry on the “Faith of our Fathers”, those who founded this faith community over 250 years ago, which became Holmes UMC.
We seek you for a breakthrough, God. Not just to keep our doors open but to provide pastoral care and to help us to grow Your Church for Your Glory; to have old members return and that old and new community members surrounding Holmes UMC, will think of us as “the church” that will meet them where they are at with Christ-like compassion and with a sense of community and caring.
Give us faith and courage to step through the doors that you open for us to expand our close community to include new members. To grow and be a new community with new and old members. Help us to make the changes needed, within ourselves, to grow a thriving Holmes UMC into your likeness.
